Vivian was born February 10, 1925 in Sheboygan Falls to Jules and Norma Sakunsky. She grew up in rural Sheboygan Falls, on her grandparents Edmund and Clara Buck’s farm with her mother and siblings.
She graduated from Sheboygan Falls High School in 1943.
On June 7, 1947 Earl E. Grams and Vivian were united in marriage.
Vivian was employed at Richardson Industries for a couple years.
She was a member of Ebenezer United Church of Christ and involved with the Mary Martha Circle.
Vivian enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She also had many hobbies, sewing American Girl Doll clothes, doing cross-stitching and making many different crafts for the annual church craft sale. She was an avid packer fan and loved playing golf and cards, especially Bridge.
She is survived by a daughter, Sharey (David) Kasey of Prarier du Chien, WI; three sons, Steve (Mary) Grams of Wausau, Jeffrey Grams of Sheboygan, and Dale (Mary) Grams of Milwaukee; and six grandchildren, Ryan, Brianna, Jessica, Scott, Steen, and Matthew; two great-grandchildren, Shane and Kenlee.
Vivian was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Earl; and sister, Phyllis.
A memorial service will be held at 12:30 pm on Thursday, August 8, 2013 at Ballhorn Chapel and Crematory. Rev. Dr. Roger Mealiff, Senior Pastor of Ebenezer United Church of Christ, will officiate. A time of visitation and support will be held on Thursday from 10:30 am until the time of service. Entombment will take place at Gardens of Peace of Mausoleum in Kohler.
A memorial fund has been established in her name.
Vivian’s family sends a heartfelt thank you to the caregivers at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for the care and compassion shown to her.
Vivian will always be remembered as a kind, generous person. She was a person who touched many people’s hearts.
