Ruby Jackson

Ruby was born November 3, 1934 in Checotah, Oklahoma to Fred and Juanita (Rouell) McGinnis. Ruby was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Shawnee. She retired from Tinker Air Force Base and enjoyed spending time at home, going to the lake with her husband and spending time with the grandchildren. She was the best mom and nan.

She married David Jackson on June 25, 1970 where they made their home in the Bethel Acres area. They later moved to Konawa to be close to family.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, David Jackson; two daughters: Kay Fry and husband, Gary of Konawa, and Kathy Campbell and husband, Jim of Haworth, Oklahoma; six grandchildren: Taryn Shirey and husband, Marty of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Tonya Landreth and husband, Dale of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Greg Fry and wife, Candy of Asher, Oklahoma, Steven Fry and wife LaDawna of Konawa, Oklahoma, Jarred Campbell of Idabel, Oklahoma and Kasey Bullock and husband, Bradley of Alva, Oklahoma; nine great grandchildren: Haylee Crawley of Ada, Connor Shirey of Shawnee, Kenlee Fry of Asher, Ashley Fry of Konawa, Isaac (Ike) Shirey of Shawnee, Dylan Fry of Konawa, Karleigh Landreth of Shawnee, Justyce Shirey of Shawnee, and Eliah Landreth of Shawnee; one great great grandchild, Gentry Postoak; one sister, Betty Voss and husband, Gene of Shawnee; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Juanita McGinnis, a great granddaughter, Scotlyn (Scotti) Rene Shirey; two grandsons: baby Fry and Brad Allen Fry; five sisters: Jewell Davis, Helen Rogers, Maxine Nichols, Allene McClellan and Nema Thomas; and one brother, Quinton McGinnis.
