Martha Susan Pack

Martha “Susie” Pack was born July 31, 1952 to Bruce and Martha Francis (Amis) Pack in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. She left this life on September 30, 2024 in Denton, Texas, with her loving family by her side.

She graduated from Captain Shreve High School. She went to work for Southwestern Bell. Western Electric and Lucent Technologies, working with and building cell phones. After 28 years of work she retired, for a short time, then when retirement didn’t suit her she went back to school at Northwestern Nursing School, and received her LPN, (Licensed Practical Nurse). With her new calling she worked another 10 years in nursing homes, until her final retirement.

Among the many things that Susie enjoyed were gardening, working with horses (her favorite thing), and eating Mexican food. She was an avid animal lover. Always bringing home a stray to nurse back to health. Her favorite donkey, Rifle, is still going strong (30+ years old) and he will greatly miss her. She also enjoyed vacationing in the Bahamas, Mexico, and Italy. Susie considered her greatest accomplishments in life to be a Mother, Grandmother, and Great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bruce and Martha Pack; daughter, Kim McClendon; and brother, Bob Pack.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Paul and wife, Corrina McClendon; granddaughter, Carlie Wiegand and husband, Drake Lovell; grandson, Taylor Wiegand; great-granddaughter, Aubrey Lovell; brother, Jimmy Pack; brother, Tom and wife, Jeri Pack; her significant other, Roy Brister; along with numerous other family members and good friends.

A visitation for Martha will be held Thursday, October 10, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home, 44909 Highway 3, Shawnee, OK 74801. A graveside service will occur Friday, October 11, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Resthaven Funeral Home.
