Laura Bell Davis

Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.

Mrs. Davis passed away on Thursday in Tecumseh.

Laura was born November 11, 1921, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Riley Thomas and Ola May Bell (Rider) Barnett. She lived in Shawnee all her life and married William “Pete” Davis on April 12, 1940, in Skaggs City, Oklahoma. Laura was a member of the First Assembly of God, Tecumseh. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; her oldest son: Harrol Gene Davis; five brothers and five sisters.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law: Glen and Carylon Davis; one daughter and son-in-law: Charlene and Bill Partain; one daughter-in-law: Jodi Davis; eight grandchildren: Darrell Davis, Kim and Bobby Moulds, Kendall and LaRhonda Hall, Angie and Jerry Robbins, Rick and Lisa Davis, Terri and Jeff Hall, Chris and Judy Davis, and Anthony Davis; 15 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; three sisters: Mary Dwight, Naomi Winsett and Ester Carter; and one brother: Charley Barnett.
