Doris Lanora Bales passed away peacefully February 12, 2022. She was born March 7, 1934 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to William Frank Smith and Edna (Snider) Smith.
Doris graduated from Shawnee High School and became a homemaker. She loved shopping and jigsaw puzzles. One of her proudest moments was when she became a born again Christian in 1980 at a Billy Graham Crusade.
Doris is preceded in death by her father William Frank Smith and mother Edna (Snider) Smith. She is survived by her daughter Paula Rieke of Billings, Montana, her son Eric Bales and wife Karen of Houston, Texas, her sister Linda Smith Johnson, five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and multiple nieces and nephews.
