Donna Hurst-Lenox

Donna passed away on June 9, 2014, in Oklahoma City.

Donna was born December 26, 1957, in Okemah, Oklahoma, to William Everett and Wanda Glee (Rogers) Hurst. She attended Earlsboro schools and graduated as valedictorian of her bicentennial graduation class. She worked at Tinker Air Force Base in Quality Management and retired after 32 years. She was a member of the South Rock Creek Ranger Riders and was a competitive barrel racer and pole and rescue rider. Her favorite Appaloosa horse was Cherokee. Donna loved the outdoors, Mickey Mouse and playing basketball. She was a loving wife, mother, and daughter. She always put being a Mom before everything else.

She is survived by her husband, Marty, of the home; one daughter: Ashley Lenox; grandbaby on the way (Dawna Jewell); her father: Everett Hurst; two sisters: Treva Hurst and Wanda Montana and her husband, Mike; several nieces and nephews; and her best friend, Blanca.

Donna was preceded in death by her mother: Wanda; one brother: Roy Hurst; and one nephew.
