Charles Michael “Mike” Kennedy was born on April 25, 1941 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Jim and Louise (Sojka) Kennedy. He passed from this life on January 23, 2024 in Moore, Oklahoma with his loving family by his side.
Charles grew up in Cushing, Oklahoma and graduated from Cushing High School and then went on to study at Oklahoma State University. He worked in farming and livestock sales as well as being a realtor and builder. He enjoyed watching OSU ballgames. His favorite pastime was attending sporting events of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He considered his greatest achievements in life to be his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Louise Kennedy; wife, Carolyn Kennedy; and daughter, Jana Graves.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are daughter, Susan Kennedy; son, Stephen Kennedy; son-in-law, Doug Graves; grandchildren, Emily Rusche and husband Josh; Jacob Kennedy and family; Michael Graves and wife Nicki; Cole Graves and partner Heath Bowman; great-grandchildren, Bryce Rusche, Paislee Kennedy, Ryleigh Kennedy, Nora Graves, Jude Graves, Saylor Graves and Kolemyn Graves, along with other extended family and a host of good friends.
