The Lord gained another Angel on Sunday, August 7, 2016. Beverly Dean Tefertiller was born April 25, 1930 in Wyaconda, Missouri to Paul and Daphne (Roberts) Mason. Daphne passed away when Beverly was 4. Her dad then married Floy Bailey who raised and cared for Beverly like she was her own.
Beverly enjoyed oil painting, restoring trunks, and sewing clothing, including a few wedding dresses. Beverly worked as a reading assistant at Pleasant Grove for 10 years where she got to share her love of reading with the children.
Beverly was a member of Blackburn Chapel and dearly loved her church family.
The most important thing to Beverly was her family. She adored her children and grandchildren. She loved spending time with them playing volleyball, throwing snowballs, and reading to them, just to name a few.
Beverly was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Kimberly Sue Price in March of 2016; brother, JD Bailey; sister, Penny Ailey; and a host of loving friends.
Those left to cherish their memories are her children, Cindy Smith, Bill Tefertiller; Jimi and Gene Smith, and Deborah and John Wright, and son-in-law, Kenneth Price; beloved nieces who she considered her own, Floy Alexander, LouAnn Crownover, and Roye Nealy; grandchildren, Hollie Carrera, Jennifer Tefertiller, Courtney Moyer, Chris Price, Michael Tefertiller, Whitney Stevenson, Chelsey Beauchamp, Ashley Love, Brooke Love, Abbi Wright, Darrell Hall, Jared Alexander, Amy Derksen, Cole Crownover, Matthew Nealy, Dakota Nealy, Christy Johnson, and Thomas Price; as well as a host of great grandchildren, other family and dear friends.
Family will receive visitors from 6pm-8pm Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Resthaven Funeral Home
Services will be 11am Thursday, August 11, 2016 at Blackburn Chapel with Larry Sparks and Gene Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Blackburn Chapel Cemetery.
