Thomas Williams Helms

Thomas Williams " Bill" Helms, age 86, of Supply, North Carolina passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2022. He was born in Indian Trail, NC on July 1, 1935 the son of the late J. Walter Helms and Nannie Wheeler Helms and was preceded in death by a son. Steve Helms and a daughter, Vickie Henderson.

Bill was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and will be greatly missed and loved by all that knew him.

Surviving are his wife of sixty-nine years, Ellie Mae Helms; his children, Sam Helms and wife, Kathy of Indian Trail, NC, Marvin Helms of Salisbury, NC, Kay King and husband Glen of Jacksonville, NC, Sheila Saunders and husband, Allen of Supply, NC Karen Helms and husband Johnny of Pageland, SC; 19 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

A celebration of his life will be held at New Found Grace Baptist Church in Supply, NC at a later date.
