Regina was born September 7, 1969, daughter of Nigel Hawman and Mona Lafontaine. She enjoyed spending time at the beach and making jewelry.
In addition to her parents, survivors include her husband, Michael Kevin Hughes of Shallotte; two sons, Alex Hughes and Ethan Hughes, of Shallotte; two daughters, Kristen Hughes of Irmo, SC and Heather Lafontaine of Shallotte; two sisters, Jamie Lafontaine and Christi Donna of Shallotte; and one grandson Izik Lafontaine.
Graveside services will be Saturday, September 4, 2021 at two o'clock in the afternoon at Mintz Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from one o'clock until two o'clock at the cemetery.
