Mr. Conner was born on June 1, 1940 to parents Carl Marvin Conner, and Delores Rae Betts - Conner in Long Branch, NJ. Later he lived in Eatontown NJ, and Longwood NC.
Mr. Conner graduated Long Branch High School in 1958. He was a manager at Long Branch Boardwalk, and for Jenkins South Beach in Point Pleasant, NJ for many years, where he touched generations at the NJ shore, leaving countless friends.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 39 years, Mary P. Farano Conner, his loving son Douglas A. Smith,
daughter-in-law Heather Smith, brother George H. Conner, sister Carla Conner Pariso Zacharias, brother-in-law Joseph Farano, sister-in-law Ida Farano, and 13 loving nieces, and nephews. He will be greatly missed by many.
Viewing will be held at White Funeral and Cremation Services, 3660 Express Drive, Shallotte, North Carolina on Tuesday , May 11, 2021, between 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
