She was born November 10, 1959 in Mecklenburg County, daughter of the late Seward V Walters and Mary Bartlett Walters. She was preceded in death by a sister Wanda Biggers.
Survivors include her husband, Adrian Macias of Supply; daughters, Suzanne Barnes and Cayidi Burris both of Supply; son, Eddie Scott Valencia of Columbus, Ohio; brothers, John (Buddy) Burris of Harrisburg, NC and Seward Walters Jr of Supply, NC. Karen was a devoted grandmother to 7 and mom/grandmother to many. She had a love for riding motorcycles. She will be missed by many friends and family.
A memorial service will be held Friday, April 14, 2023 at three o'clock in the afternoon in The Lou White Memorial Chapel in Shallotte, NC. There will be a time of visitation one hour prior to the service.
