Joyce L. Gruenberg

Joyce was born to Ray and Elva Marie Killingsworth Faulk in High Point, NC.

Those who will miss her are her loving, caring and devoted husband, Ed Gruenberg; daughter, Marie (Ron) Norton of Asheboro, NC; daughter Pauline French of Los Angeles, CA, and her two daughters, Emily Babich of New York, NY, and Cameron Babich of Los Angeles, CA; her son, Steve (Kay) Miller of Marrietta, GA, and their two daughters, Kristen and Erica; Joyce's sister Leota (Derwin) Tuten of Waycross, GA; Joyce's sister-in-law, Elaine Azcarate of Lone Tree, CO; and her nieces, nephews, cousins, and one special childhood friend, Ruby Thomasson of High Point, NC. Those to meet her there are her parents, her sister Geneva Ashby Winner, her stepmother Prudie Mills Faulk, aunts, uncles and a son.

Joyce lived a very full life. She was raised in High Point, NC, before moving to California where she met Ed. They moved all over the country, Utah, Washington, Califorina and Tennessee before moving back to their beloved Holden Beach home. She and Ed enjoyed boating and entertaining both family friends there. Joyce was a former member of the Beautification Committee and a member of the Holden Beach Chapel.

Funeral services are being held at Eleven O'Clock on Tuesday, September 4, 2018, at White Funeral and Cremation Service Shallotte Chapel 3360 Express Drive Shallotte, NC with Joyce's brother-in-law Pastor Derwin Tuten officiating. The burial will be private.

There will be a time of visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
