Mr. Holland was born May 10, 1963 in Stark County, Ohio, son of Mary Ann Estock Holland and the late John Joseph Holland, Sr. John was a loving son, brother, father and grandfather. He was a kind hearted man, who was willing to help anyone who asked. He enjoyed spending countless hours at the beach, motorcycles, cars and motorsports. He was an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous and this would have celebrated his 13th year of sobriety in September.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, John Holland Jr. the 1st, and his wife, Beth Anne Holland.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Ann Holland of Alliance, Ohio; children, Christopher Holland and wife Jaimie of Watertown, New York; Lindsey Holland and partner Josh Nagle of Canton, Ohio; sister, Colleen Erisey and husband Steve of Alliance, Ohio; six grandchildren, Desai Holland, Bryor Salcido, Ronin Holland, James Nagle, Naudia Nagle, and Joshua Nagle II; and niece, Allison Diehl and husband Collin of Sebring, Ohio.
His family will be holding an open remembrance on the beach, on the north side of the Ocean Isle Pier, Saturday from eleven to one. All who knew John are welcome to come and share their memories.
An additional remembrance service will be held for Ohio family and friends at a later date.
