Deborah was born July 5, 1961 in Erwin, North Carolina, daughter of the late John Ballard Darroch and Juanita Darroch. She worked at Food Lion in Shallotte and Holden Beach for over 26 years. She enjoyed boating, listening to country music and watching the Carolina Panthers.
Survivors include her brother, Ronnie Darroch of Erwin and sister Rhonda Potter of Erwin; several nieces and nephews; her extended family, Peggy Long of Shallotte, Jared and Debra Cox of Shallotte, Johnathan and Leanne Long of Sunset Beach, and Elizabeth Long of Shallotte. She was known and loved as “Aunt Debbie” to Aubree, Hadlee, Genesis, Decklan, Madison, Macey, and Alyssa.
A memorial service will be Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at two o’clock in the afternoon at White Funeral and Cremation Service, 3660 Express Drive, Shallotte.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
