Port Angeles resident Mary Elizabeth May Davis died Oct. 5, 2012 at the age of 95.
She was born Jan. 7, 1917, in Reece, Kan., to Clarence and Tassie Sparkman May.
She married Benjamin Davis on Sept. 4, 1946, in Bremerton.
In addition to raising eight children, she sewed, gardened and traveled. She attended Bethany Pentacostal Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Davis, and her daughter Jane Irwin.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Leonard and Barbara Davis, of Port Angeles; Jeff and Charlene Davis, of Sequim; and Bruce and Sherry Davis, of Sequim; daughters and sons-in-law Jacqueline Gayle and Ken Berger, of Long Beach, Calif.; Benita and Marvin King, of Port Angeles; and Colleen and Joe Janssen of Wrangel, Alaska; son Dion Davis, of Bellingham; and 59 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
At her prior request, there will be no service.
