TOMLIN, Cecily D. 81 of Seminole, FL passed away on February 12, 2020. She is survived by her brother, David E. Derrick, Bundaberg, Australia; two sons, Richard E. Tomlin, IV, wife Elizabeth, and Mark E. Tomlin; two daughters, Holly S. Tomlin and Heather T. Holland, husband Donnie, all her children are residents in Florida; eight grandchildren, Brittany King, Mathew Tomlin, Christian Tomlin, JD Holland, Morgan Tomlin, Reiss Tomlin, Brady Holland, Kaylie Holland, one great grandchild, Bodhi King, and nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard E. Tomlin, III.
She is a proud graduate of Florida State University, taught high school in Pennsylvania, managed her husband’s dental practice, and a dedicated reunion planner for St. Petersburg High School. She loved to watch FSU football and crafting. She was married to her high school sweetheart for 59 years. He’d say that he fell in love with her when she danced on pointe on a blue piano during a St. Pete High half-time band performance under a blue spotlight, like a magical jewelry box. They had a wonderful life together and now will be together forever.
Visitation will be from 10 am until service time at 11 am Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Garden Sanctuary Funeral Home followed by interment in Garden Sanctuary Cemetery, Seminole.
