Bobette Janean Brattis 71, of Seminole, Florida died peacefully in her sleep, on November 13th 2019. Our beautiful Momma was loved and adored by all those whose life she touched. From her early days as a stewardess for a major airline, to raising her three children Jeffrey, Andreanna, and Christa, she continually worked hard as a single mother to provide a loving home. She continued to have a positive spirit through the good times and bad, always looking at each day as an opportunity to be thankful and grateful for what she had in her life. Throughout her life she consistently brought joy to others by putting them first, even before herself. She was a beloved Grandma and “Ya Ya” to her grandsons; Branigan, Andrew, Brandon, and Keanan. She is survived by her siblings; Josanna Smith, Nikki Cernusak, and Steve Brattis.

One of the greatest joys of her life was to relax in her backyard on the lake as she enjoyed all things beautiful. Her lifelong best friend Carol Gorbett, continually brought her enjoyment and fun. You could definitely call her a designer in every manner of Home, Garden, and Cooking. She put her heart and soul into everything she did. She had a love of the outdoors in both Florida and Colorado and it was evident in the way she smiled and laughed when spending time with family or playing Cornhole with her competitive streak. Her companion for life was her dog “Albert” and was her world until she lost him last year. Eventually she opened her heart to a new love which was her puppy Toebe, who quickly became the new love of her life.

Life will never be the same without her here. Although she has passed away, each person in her life is blessed to have been loved and cared for by her. She brought something special to each one of our lives, mainly how to love and always be grateful.

She has now joined the angels in heaven, along with her mother, Billye; father, Robert; her faithful companion, Albert and the rest of our Greek family and her beloved friends. Heaven gained a beautiful and amazing woman who will be dancing, cooking and singing with all of the angels eternally.

According to Bobette’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of life will be held January 25th, 2020 at 11725 Oxford Street Seminole, FL 33772. The celebration will be from 2:00pm-9:00pm. In lieu of flowers or donations please support your chosen charity, hospice, or cause.
