Edward H Gutz

Edward Herman Gutz born on November 13, 1923 went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on January 17, 2012 at the age of 88. He was a lifelong resident of Marion, TX. After he retired from Mission Valley Mills he returned to tending his farm full time. He loved his farm, family and his faith. Edward is preceded in death by his parents Frido and Ella Gutz. He is survived by his loving wife Myrtle Gutz; beloved daughters, Pearl Wilkinson with husband Billy, Margie Hermes with husband Jerry, Beverly Lee and husband James; a beloved son, James Gutz with wife Lollie; 9 grandchildren, Stephen Wilkinson, Brenda Wohlfahrt, Tracy Hermes, Michelle Koutz, Brian Wilkinson, Jerry Hermes. Jr., Elizabeth Rubio, Bebbi Wahl and Jonathan Gutz; sister, Evelyn Reidricht and by numerous great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held in the chapel at Goetz Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 from 5-8 pm. A funeral service will be held at Living Waters Church in Seguin on Thursday, January 19, 2012 beginning at 10 am with interment following at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.
