Hi daddy, it’s almost been 8 years without you. I don’t know why I’ve been thinking about you and missing you so much lately. I’m sorry if you’re not proud of me. I know it doesn’t seem like I’m doing my best and being the best I can be but I am trying so hard to get through every day. I read your posts on Facebook all the time, you were so kind and I know you were fighting so hard every day. It’s so hard to live, believe me I understand. I just think about all the things you missed out on and will miss out on, in your life and in mine, but I understand because you can’t take care of someone else when you can’t even find it inside you to take care of yourself. The hardest part is that even though I didn’t know you really, you’re my father and I’ll never get over the fact that you’re not here and I’ll never not want you here.

it breaks my heart every time i look back at your obituary, seeing almost no one leaves a little respect on it i think about you often, and i still wonder what fun things we could have been able to do i miss you and love you so much uncle chris <3
