Theresa Marie Donnelly

She was a graduate of West Seattle High class of 1962 and later in life earned a computer application specialist degree at Green River College. A family that will miss her dearly survives her: Her son, Paul H Donnelly II, daughter-in-law Jill, grandchildren Paul H the 3rd, Logan J, Hudson R, and Campbell K. Her Daughter Tracy Marie Mitchell, son-in-law Brian, grandchildren Scott P, Owen D, Alan D, and Lilya M. Her brother Virgil W McDonald, Sister-in-law Jan and many nieces and nephews.

Theresa LOVED her grandchildren with a passion. Amazed that with only 2 children she would gain 8 grandchildren, they became her life focus as each came along. She loved to see the world through their eyes, taking them with her as she traveled and explored the world. She also loved to bake cookies with them, eventually becoming known as “Grandma Cookie”. They made cookies year round and typically baked and decorated 500 gingerbread people each holiday season.

She was a member of Fairwood United Methodist Church, Red Hats Mommas of Maple Valley, and a Bunco group.

A viewing will take place on May 12th from 11-1pm at Forest Lawn in West Seattle. A celebration of her life will be held for her friends and family on May 19th To attend, contact [email protected]
