Ruthie met Alvin Schoenfeld, the love of her life, at a Temple dance at the age of 13, and they were married on September 18, 1948. They soon started a family with the births of Mark, Robert, Steven, and Carol.
Mom’s joy was in her family and her delight was being with her grandchildren Jason, Jack, Marcus, and Drew.
Mom will be remembered for her love, beauty, grace, kindness, devotion, her loving smile and her back hand on the tennis courts.
