Rodolfo (Rudy) Sangalang Lomogda passed away peacefully in his sleep on April 23, 2023 in Seattle, Washington. He leaves behind his wife Aurora of 61 years; two daughters, Angelina Jimeno (husband Teddy), Cindy Sheehan (husband Tony) and four grandchildren Anthony and Lovena Sheehan and Emmanuel (EJ) and Alexi Jimeno; his seven other surviving siblings Avelina Jazmin, Candido Lomogda (wife Carol), Norma Oposcolo (husband Louie), Auring Aguila (husband Jesse), Milagros Malonza, Zenaida Noble, and Estrella Lomogda. Erlinda Lomogda and Candido Jr (both deceased).
He was born in San Antonio Cavite City, Philippines in 1932 and is a retired U.S. Coast Guard veteran of 20+ years. He was proud of his life-dedicated to public service and caring for his family. He loved watching all kinds of sports, cooking for his family and keeping up on current events. His quiet strength, wisdom, smile and animated storytelling will be missed by all. We will love and hold you forever in our hearts.
