Raymond passed on at 2 am on Sunday, December 20th from complications of pneumonia at age 92 in the rest home where he lived. He was a WW 2 and Korean Conflict US Veteran. Raymond was strong in character with a good sense of humor. He was an auto mechanic, who owned gas stations in Seattle, and Edmonds. At age 55 he started a new career at Boeing, as a building maintenance man, with his mechanical ability it was right up his alley. He maintained equipment in the Boeing Everett plant.
He leaves behind 6 children, Janet Shaw (Howard), Nancy Choate (Danny), Leslie ’Butch’ Morgan (Darlene), John Morgan (Amy), Robert Morgan (Cindy), Step-Daughter Theresa Moser, nine grandchildren, Brenda, Angela, Don, Bill, Stacie, Amber, Jade, Shelly, Mikayla, and Tyler, and twelve great grandchildren Logan, Taylor, Cole, Olivia, Preston, Andrew, Kilie, Landon, Madison, Alyssa, Mason, and Emma. Those who preceded him in death were, His parents, Elroy and Bertha Morgan, Wife Helen Morgan, Sister Marie Givens, Brother-in law Floyd Givens, and Grandson Brian Morgan. He will be laid to rest next to Helen at Evergreen-Washelli on Thursday, December 31, 2020.
