Melita Agatep Antalan, 65, of Seattle passed on October 4, 2024.
She was born in Moncada, Tarlac to Antolin and Filomena Agatep. She was the youngest of three children, the only daughter.
Melita made lifelong friends everywhere she went. Her loving nature and fun storytelling drew everyone to her. Not only was she loved by those around her as she loved them, she loved her family like no other. She was the best mom and wife. She made sure there was a hot cooked meal on the table every night so we could end each day together. She was the greatest cook, and each bite was filled with love.
Melita loved flowers and was a wonderful gardener. She loved birds and their songs. She loved the sun on her skin paired with a light breeze. She had the brightest smile over the tiniest things. She loved to share her life through her poetry. She loved and appreciated all that the Lord created. She was simply the best.
She is survived by her brothers, Arthur Agatep and Victor Agatep, her husband of 34 years, Jose, and her daughters, Alexa and Megan.
