He was our light, our inspiration, and the love of our lives. His grandparents Margy (Mimi) and Stan (Papa) devoted all their time to Leo in his first 7 years.
Leo started preschool at Discovery Montessori and went on to Lawton, Lincoln, and Hamilton in the advanced learning program. We were so proud, school was so easy and such a pleasure for him…
Leo loved Math, Languages, Science, History, and P.E. He was very involved in the Green Team; so concerned about our planet…He discovered cool clubs for drama and debate, computer coding, Lego design and really enjoyed them.
Leo was all energy and motion, became a great skier, Taekwondo-er, swimmer, a very passionate Ultimate Frisbee player and incredible floss dancer! Leo enjoyed traveling and was a great navigator (with his quick fingers on the GPS!!!). He loved his friends and hanging out with them, playing games and walking around, skateboarding in the parks.
His friends found him loving and compassionate, kind, joyful, a loyal friend and a happy person.
Leo was hoping to study computer science and design in California, but his life was cut short and along with it all his dreams.....
Our beautiful, innocent boy was killed in a senseless car crash, spending 4 months in the hospital fighting for his life. He left us being held in his mother’s loving arms on Jan 12, 2019.
Leo loved life, every day was full of energy, curiosity, and excitement…
Leo’s absence will leave an enormous void in our hearts and souls.
In memory of Leo’s life, we are starting a foundation for gifted children, helping youngsters to fully achieve their scholastic potential and goals, and carry forward a legacy our son would have achieved one day.
