I met Larry about 8 years ago representing ORU.  He had established a scholarship in memory of his parents and I would meet with him several times a year.  We would always enjoy lunch together--I would update him on the scholarship fund and things around ORU, and he would share bits of wisdom from his years varied experiences.  He was always full of vim and vigor, always learning, always generous and loving.  I was shocked and saddened to learn of his passing.  I will miss him.
