Kyu Chol Cho

On Wednesday, May 25, 2022, Kyu Chol Cho also known as Charlie Cho, loving husband and father of two, unexpectedly passed away at the age of 55. Kyu Chol was born on May 4th, 1967 in Busan, South Korea and immigrated to Seattle, WA in 1986. On December 23rd, 1989 he married Kyung Hee Bae and they raised two sons, Sam and Willy.

Kyu Chol was a man of unconditional love for his family and was adored for his charm and humor. He was a businessman and avid golfer who would play through rain, sleet, or snow. He was active in the Korean community and admired for his generosity–often known to pay for the meals of friends, unsolicited. He devoted his entire life to creating opportunities for his two sons and loved anything they loved.

Kyu Chol was preceded in death by his father, Young Geun Cho. He is survived by his wife Kyung Hee (Kathy), his two sons, Sam and Willy, and his three sisters, Sonja, Jean, Rhonda, and several nieces and nephews.
