Ken was born to parents Marshall and Shirley Hatch on May 23, 1950 in Bothell, WA. Ken grew up as the eldest of three brothers and graduated from Bothell High School in 1968.
While working as a shipping manager for Sauder Moulding (currently Metrie), Ken’s passion was always shown through his art. He was an incredibly talented painter and cartoonist as well as being a professionally trained animator. Ken never stopped learning and continued to refine his mastery of art even into his retirement in 2013.
Ken is survived by his sons, Kelly Hatch, Jeff Hatch and Kyle Hatch; his brothers, Larry Hatch and Ron Hatch; and one grandchild, Benjamin Hatch.
The cremation took place on May 16th at 9:00 a.m., at Acacia Memorial, in Bothell, WA. Ken’s ashes are on display alongside his parents in the funeral home’s Mausoleum. The family is incredibly grateful for the condolences and Bothell Alumni class of 1968.
