Jeffrey Lee Anderson was born in Seattle, Washington on November 14, 1956. Shortly after birth, he was adopted by Dr. James Anderson and Lorraine Anderson. The Anderson family resided in Mountlake Terrace, Washington. Within a couple of years, they adopted Gina Anderson. James began his successful practice as a Podiatrist when suddenly Lorraine passed away. James met and married Marjorie Marriott and the family resided in Magnolia, Washington. Marjorie joined the Anderson family with two boys from her deceased husband, Marc, and Arthur Marriott.
Jeff grew up golfing, going to concerts, playing frisbee, and generally messing around. A highlight of Jeff’s life was working on the “Wild Goose,” a boat that John Wayne owned and frequently took from Newport Harbor to the San Juan Islands. He married Lori Ann DeVries at age 35 and had a son named Alec Jeffrey Anderson. Jeff worked hard by keeping the properties, houses, yards, boat, and vehicles in good condition. He taught Alec strong values and everything else along the way. Jeff was well liked at work and always extremely helpful. He was loyal to his company and worked at Kaiser Permanente for over 25 Years.
In 2014 Jeff met his biological mother, Norma Jean Cunningham and learned that he had three sisters and a brother. Norma and the sisters met Jeff in person soon after. In 2020, Jeff was able to meet a biological brother from the parenteral side of his family and learned he had two other brothers living nearby.
The last 4 years of Jeff’s life were challenging as he battled larynx cancer. His nickname was the “The Warrior.” He took a trip to Mexico in November of 2020 and completed a 3,000-mile road trip with his UTV to visit family and friends in April of 2022. Thank you to Mike and Gordon for making the trip happen.
Jeff passed away from his cancer on October 7, 2022.
