Ferol H. Hoxie

February 28, 1929-November 19, 2022

Ferol, age 93, was born in 1929 on a farm in Whitetail, Montana where she completed school in 1947. Once she completed school she moved to Seattle, graduating from Metropolitan Business College with honors. After college Ferol started working at Grange Coop Wholesale and proceeded to work there for 19 years. During that time is when Ferol met Robert, her future husband and the love of her life, they married in October 1949. After working with Grange she briefly worked with Insurance Weekly Magazine, then went on to work for the Clean air agency where she retired after 26 years in 1994.

Ferol and Bob lived in Queen Anne and North Seattle before buying property on Magnolia Hill where they built their dream house and lived there for 55 years. They both loved family and traveling so they started off buying a camper then graduated to taking cruises. They enjoyed cruises so much that they hosted several cruises with their close family. Ferol was an active member and treasurer of Queen Anne Baptist church and member of Northside Grange Fraternal Organization.

Ferol is preceded in death by her loving husband Robert Walter Hoxie. She is survived by her brother Frank Edwards and sister-in-laws, Lucille Edwards and Rosemary Young along with many nieces and nephews. She will truly be missed by her family and friends.

Services will be held at Evergreen Washelli Funeral Home, 11111 Aurora Ave. N, Seattle.

Visitation will be held 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM on Thursday, December 1, 2022.

Her funeral service held 10:00 AM on Friday, December 2nd, followed by graveside interment and a reception to immediately follow.
