Eric "Gary" Richard Owen, born July 30, 1989, died April 15, 2017. Eric graduated from Douglas Southall Freeman High School, Richmond, Virginia, 2007, and earned an Associate Degree in Computer Engineering at South Seattle Community College, 2011. Eric transferred to The University of Washington, Seattle, and was working towards a Bachelor Degree in Psychology when he died. His brothers at UW's Beta Psi Chapter of Kappa Sigma Fraternity called Eric "Gary" Eric is survived by his mother Lisa, brother Alex, his uncle and namesake Eric Richard, uncle Jack, aunt Audrie, Grandma Monica, Grandpa Robert, and cousins Daniel, Chris, Gunner, Marie Claire, Bethany, and Hamilton. Eric will be memorialized by friends and family at Butterworth's Funeral Home in Upper Queen Anne Sunday, April 23, 1PM.
