Born on January 26, 1928 in Stockton, Manitoba, Canada to Roy and Mabel Coulter, Elaine and her family immigrated to the US when she was 20.
She worked for many years as a dental assistant, a career she found very rewarding.
Pre-deceased by her parents; her two husbands, Robert Lee, Clifford Foster; her daughter, Stephanie Lee; her brother, The Very Reverend C. Roy Coulter; and son-in-law, David Jones.
Elaine is survived by her daughters, Mary Clare (John) Thompson, Elizabeth Jones; grandchildren, Christopher, Katie, Bronwyn; and grandchildren, Owen, Westley, Winston.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2024 - 2:00 pm at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 15 Roy Street, Seattle.
