Curtis Alvin Wallem, died peacefully at the age of 81 on September 6, 2022.
Curt was one of three sons born to Irene & Oliver Wallem of Linden Washington. After graduating High School, he joined the Navy as an airplane mechanic. After retiring from the military, he had a long career driving trucks, delivering propane. Curt was an avid fisherman and loved to cook the salmon that he caught on the grill. He has read almost every novel by James Michener, was passionate about collecting art pieces and was an avid gardener and loved flowers. He took pride in maintaining his yard and garden and giving tips to friends and neighbors. He is survived by his companion of over 22 years, Christine, three children from his first marriage: Dale, Debra and Bruce, and his brother Ozzie. Curt was a helpful friend and neighbor to many and was always willing to lend a hand.
A memorial service is scheduled at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Magnolia on November 11, 2022 at 10:30 am.
