Vicki Louise Dodd passed away peacefully over the Christmas Holiday on December25, 2016. She was in good spirits and in the presence of loved ones. Although her legal name was Vicki, most knew her by Ma, Mom, G-ma, Granny and probably some other names, both good and bad. Preceding her in death is her father and mother, John and Victoria Forshee, and her husband, Collin Dodd. Those left to cherish her memories are her son, John Dodd and wife Angel. Daughters: Lee Moss and Lyn. Grandchildren: Danielle Dodd, Bailey Dodd, Destinni Zimmerman, Dakota Dodd, Toni Zimmerman, Bethany Moss, Danny Moss. Step Children, Randy & Debbie Dodd and Ronald and Theresa Dodd and many, Great Grandchildren. She had an amazing life; some say she could have written a book or two. She was definitely a soldier and survivor. In her younger days she would have given you a run for your money. Doesn’t mean she still wouldn’t get feisty today but would give you the shirt off her back and put anybody’s needs before her own but with age Vicki settled down and had children and began to love more of the finer things in life like being a Mother, an Aunt, a Daughter, a Great-Grandma or G-ma and a wonderful friend. She definitely found the secret to a happy marriage. She married Collin Dodd. He was the love of her life. The couple shared 25 wonderful years together. He was her best friend and she still spoke of him almost daily. We know today they are together again side by side, along with her dog choo choo. Vicki graduated from the School of Hardknox, with a PHD…. of course, imagine that. She worked at Wal-Mart in management for 12 years before retiring. She was a Christian strong in her faith and loved the Lord although, due to her health, she was unable to attend church.
