Sheila June (Rogers) Watley, 66, passed away on September 9, 2015. She was born on December 13, 1948 to Gene and Sybil (Fuller) Rogers in Bakersfield, CA. Sheila lived all over Texas before settling in the Dallas area in 1978. She retired from the Odee Company but continued to work part time the last few years. Sheila loved gardening and antiquing, but had a special calling to rescue animals and would never turn one away that showed up at her home. Affectionately known as “Nana” to her family, Sheila was a very sweet, caring and loving woman to everyone she met. She always remembered names and wouldn’t hesitate to sacrifice for you, if you needed a nickel, she’d gladly give you a dime. Preceding her in death are her parents and siblings Mona, Tommy and Gloria. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Keith Watley; children: Mike Rogers, Chana Lourick and Tina Nance and husband, Scott; grandchildren: Michael Rogers and wife, Katie, Blake Rogers, Alycia Slater and husband, Daniel and Khyle Nance; great- granddaughter Aubrey Rogers; siblings: Debbie Weakley, Brenda Nobles, Allan Rogers, Kelley Worshan Gonzales and Pat Boortz and husband, Mark; brother Bryan Worsham Sr.; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will miss her dearly. Visitation will be 9:00 am – 11:00 am on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Roselawn Funeral Home, Seagoville, TX.
