Vivian Sally Sharpton, 74 of Garland, Texas passed away peacefully on December 13, 2024 in Garland, TX, Born on June 27, 1950, in Dallas, Tx. Vivan lived a life filled with love, laughter and devotion to her family and friends.
Vivian was preceded in death by her beloved husband George Sharpton, her daughter Loretta Cannon, her parents Joe and Veldon Lindamood, and her brothers Benny and Frank Lindamood, and sister Betty Dyess.
She is survived by her loving children: Mona Shari Glasenapp and William Cannon both of Garland, Tx. and Armando Diaz from Frisco, TX. She was the cherished grandmother of Kursti Cannon, Ashley and Gary Nichols, Preston Cannon, Victoria Cannon, Peyton Cannon, Shannon Saul. She was also a proud great-grandmother to Miguel Martinez, Ayden Ruby, Kali and Gunner Nichols, Elijah and Jaxson Cannon, Isabella Mancilla and Annie Saul.
Vivian shared her life with her significant other Armando Diaz, who brought joy and companionship in her later years, along with her closest friends Sue Harris and Carylon Shaffer.
She was a talented hairstylist; Vivian spent her career making others feel beautiful. She loved to cook and bake often singing softly to herself as she prepared meals. Her favorite color was yellow, yellow roses. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Above all Vivan will be remembered as a loving mother, sister and grandmother.
