Roberta Joyce Griffith was born on September 30, 1936 in Stonewall, Oklahoma to mom, Dovie Pearl Henry and dad, Robert Lester Henry. She married Dee Griffith, Jr. on October 28, 1950 and had two daughters, Joyce Ann and Brenda Sue..
She also had two older brothers, Paul Harold Henry and Kenneth Leroy Henry.
The only time she worked outside the home, she picked cotton. Later on, she would do ironing or babysitting to earn extra money. She loved making quilts and even won first place in a quilt show one time. She also loved playing penny slot machines. She really loved all of her pets.
She and Dee were married for 54 years. Dee passed away in 2004.
She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.
She is survived by daughters Joyce Cummings and Brenda Short, son-in-law, William Short, grandson, Jimme Huse, and granddaughters, January Cerveny and Norma Flaming, husband, Keith Flaming.
Great-grandchildren are Abel Cerveny, Angel Cerveny Hill, Oaklyn Carlisle, Brandon Shupak and wife Maggie. Ashley Huse, Brookelyn Huse and Abigail Flaming. She was preceded in death by Jack Murphrey, great-grandson.
Her great-great grandchildren are Kennedy and Tristen Shupak and Jurnea and Jursea Hill.
