Michael Herbert Campbell (Mike) was born September 28, 1945 in Olympia, Washington to Herbert Denson Campbell and Hazel Elizabeth Mitchum. He passed away after a six month battle with lung cancer on November 2, 2019.
He was raised in the Dallas area and attended Crozier Tech and H. Grady Spruce High School. He married his best friend Judy McAdams in 1964. Mike worked at Krohler Manufacturing, learning how to build furniture, and then worked at Levitz doing in home repair. He retired from Levitz in 1994 after 27 years of service.
He started Custom Seats of Texas working out of his son’s feed store in Seagoville, before building his own building in Seagoville in 1998. Mike and his son Larry ran the business until retiring in 2013 after 19 years.
Mike is survived by his wife Judy of Seagoville, one son Larry Campbell and wife Kathy of Seagoville, Daughter Susan Webb and Husband Chris of Waller Texas, brother Bobby Childs and wife Stephanie of Houston. Also survived by Grandchildren, Carson, Cassie, and Caryis Webb of Waller. Ashlei Campbell and husband Justin of Mesquite, Lauren Campbell of Wesson Mississippi, and Dalton Campbell of Seagoville.
Survived by Great Grandchildren Shelbei, Ryder, and Kayden. Last but not least Mike is survived by his dog Sandy, (Who he adored) and his cat Bitty Kitty.
Mike had a good life, laughed often and loved a lot. He was blessed with good friends and neighbors. Memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society in his name.
Visitation will be held on Thursday November 7th from 6:00 to 8:00pm at Roselawn Funeral Home in Seagoville Texas. Funeral service will be Friday the 8th in the Roselawn Chapel, at Roselawn Funeral Home.
