Hattie May Massey

Hattie May Massey, age 70, entered into rest on June 8, 2023 in Seagoville, Texas. She entered into life on January 20, 1953 in DeKalb, Texas to Curtis and Dorothy McClure. Hattie was raised in Dallas, Texas and graduated from North Dallas High School in 1971. She married Jerry Don Marsh in 1972 and the couple had 3 children.

In her spare time Hattie enjoyed fishing, crafting, sun tanning, and Maggie May.

Her family and friends will always remember her as a caring and loving mother, granny and sister.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Dorothy McClure; her son, JD Marsh Jr.; and her brothers, Buddy McClure and Harold Wayne McClure.

Hattie is survived by her daughters, Heather Moore and husband JJ, of Combine, Texas, and Holli Thomas of Scurry, Texas; grandkids, Katlyn, Cheyenne, Austin, Carson, and Kara; sisters, Rita Ferguson and husband Ron of Combine, Texas, Doris Raye Stovall and husband Johnny of Greenville, Texas, and Sandra Harden of Greenville, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

A visitation for Hattie will be held Monday, June 12, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Roselawn Funeral Home, 1000 S Highway 175, Seagoville, TX 75159. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, June 13, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 1000 S Highway 175, Seagoville, TX 75159. A committal service will occur Tuesday, June 13, 2023 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, 1000 S Highway 175, Seagoville, TX 75159.
