Mr. Gary Gillispie

Gary R. Gillispie passed away peacefully at his home in Crandall, Texas on February 1, 2016. He was born in Crosby North Dakota on March 20, 1952 to Louis and Anita (Hurt) Gillispie. Gary lived most of his life in Crandall. He was very active in the community; he was a former member of the Crandall City Council. He served his community as a member of the Crandall Volunteer Fire Department and was Fire Chief for 10 years. Gary was an active Master Mason in good standing at Seagoville Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed guns and old cars but he was especially proud of his family. He loved and cherished the time he had with them. Left with treasured memories of Gary is his loving wife Paula; daughter Cheyenne Morrison & husband Michael; grandson Owen Brooks Morrison; father Louis Gillispie; brother Bruce Gillispie; brother Ken Gillispie & wife Sharla and numerous nieces, nephews and other family loved ones. Also left with fond memories are many, many beloved friends. Gary was loved by all who knew. He will be greatly missed. A memorial Service to celebrate the life of Gary Gillispie will be held at 11:00am Thursday February 4, 2016 at First Community Church of Crandall 1401 Trinity Rd. Crandall, Texas 74114.
