Dwight Baker of Seagoville TX, passed away on April 26, 2021 in Austin TX. He will always be remembered as a Father, Papaw and Friend to all that knew and loved him. He was born on September 6th, 1950 in Hamlin TX to Jessie and Oma Baker.
Dwight was a wonderful family man who did whatever he could for his family. He was an Army veteran and was stationed in Hawaii where he found his love of the ocean which he instilled into his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, but his favorite pastime was being with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He had a hobby of collecting objects that caught his fancy whether it be knives, stamps, or rare coins, he found enjoyment in it all.
Dwight Baker is survived by Son-Jay and Rene Baker of Bastrop TX, Son-Justin Dwight Baker of Bastrop TX, Sister- Patricia Darlene Hestily of Cedar Creek TX, Brother- Bennie”Skeeter”Baker of Dallas TX, numerous nieces and nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren and loving extended family. He was preceded in death by his Daughter Misty Lyn Baker, Mother Oma Baker and Father Jessie Baker.
The visitation will be held from 4 - 8 o’clock p.m. on Tuesday May 4, 2021 at the Roselawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens. The Funeral Service will be held at 10 o’clock a.m. on Wednesday May 5, 2021 at Roselawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens.
