He was born to Charles and Dorothy Wright on November 3rd, 1960 in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Known to most simply as Chuck or Chuckie. The family moved to Texas where Chuck was raised in Seagoville, and later graduated from Seagoville High School in 1979. After graduation, he attended Eastfield College in Mesquite.
Chuck never married. He worked in the area of automotive salvage with his family at C & D Auto Parts and All Trucks Inc. for 33 years. He later worked out of his home, repairing small engines.
In his spare time, Chuckie loved working on his hobbies like restoring his 1966 Pontiac GTO and tinkering with his locomotive model trains. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.
Chuck's family and friend will always remember him as someone who could repair anything, automobiles, lawn mowers, and anything with a small engine. He enjoyed researching and solving problems, he
was so good at whatever he set his mind to.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Dorothy Wright and his grandparents, Thomas C and Lula McElroy and Otha Lee and Lola Wright, as well as many other loved ones.
Chuck is survived by his two sisters, Phyllis Root, Marlys Isbell and husband David; one niece, Katelyn Leake and husband Michael; two nephews, Kyle Root and wife, Aimee and Ethan Isbell; 3 great nephews Grant Leake, Luka Leake and Myles Root, along with many other family members and good friends.
Chuck always had a smile on his face and truly loved helping others. He was kind-hearted. He was gifted artistically and musically and he'll be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
