She entered into life on August 14, 1928 in Paris, Texas to parents Wesley and Maudie Sheffield.
She married Jimmy Bradley Johnson on August 28, 1946 and the couple had five children. Alma stayed home to be with her children, making sure that each had anything that they needed.
In her spare time Juanita enjoyed spending time with family and friends, as well as traveling. Her favorite vacation destination was Colorado with a particular love for Colorado Springs and Cripple Creek. When she could, Alma enjoyed listening to her favorite types of music: gospel, and country.
Her family and friends will always remember her as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a loyal friend, and a woman who was devoted to those she loved, maintaining friendships that started in her youth and lasted a lifetime. Juanita was a person who never knew a stranger and could make friends anywhere she went.
