Wilma Amanda Walz

Wilma A. Walz, 93, passed peacefully on February 7, 2015 in Avondale, Arizona. She was born on May 11, 1921 in Quincy, Illinois to loving parents Harry and Amanda Hoener. She is preceded by her parents and former husband Gerald E. Conner and loving husband Robert J. Walz, and by her siblings, brother Harry Hoener II, and sisters, Ruth Leatherman and Dorothy Hoener great granddaughter Cadia Rose Thompson. She is succeeded by her sons Mike Conner and Terry Conner; daughters Sharon (Conner) Thompson son-in-law Jim, and Maureen (Conner) Edwards son-in-law David; granddaughter Kelly (Jason) Gibson; grandsons Brian Thompson (Dulce), Shawn Edwards, Brenden Edwards; great grandchildren Taylor Gibson, Conner Gibson, Lola Thompson, Luna Thompson; her Illinois family are two nieces Janice (Kirby) Wiemelt and Linda (Paul) Meier nephew Harry Hoener III, and many great nieces and nephews. Funeral Service is scheduled for NOON, Friday 13, 2015, at Green Acres Chapel of Light with a Graveside service to follow.
