Vinod Kumar Puri

He graduated from Indian Institute of Technology (I.I.T.) and received a Bachelor's Degree in Metallurgical Engineering. Vinod married Rama Puri on January 21, 1973 in India. He went on to have a career working in multiple engineering roles in various industries.

Vinod had a passion for all things spiritual, his family, his friends, community service, reading voraciously, music and dance. He was well known and will be remembered for his kind heart, sacrificing nature, strong work ethic and jovial personality.

Vinod was widowed at the time of his passing and is survived by his sons, Arvind (wife, Shelly) and Gaurav (wife, Jaya) Puri; his grandchildren: Jasmine, Sonia, Alisha, Sahana, Jayshaan, and Amaya Puri; his brother: Anil Puri; and his sisters: Asha Mahendru, and Aruna Bhalla.

The family will be holding a private service to honor Vinod's final wishes, and then will hold a life celebration at Vinod's son's home.
