Ronald Eugene Sextro

Ronald Eugene Sextro passed away Friday August 15, 2016 at Mercy Gilbert Hospital with his family at his side. Ronald was born in Sabetha, KS on March 7, 1950 to Clara Mary Reinecke and Leander Lawrence Sextro. He spent his early years in Overland Park, KS. and Graduated from Rockhurst High School.

He then went on to KU. He was working at Dolgins in N.K.C. Mo. where he met Nancy Kathryn Whitehurst and they were married July 2, 1976.

He quickly became consumed with the excitement of racing and the engineering of building his own mean machine which he mastered. He then after 38 years of retail business and multiple hobbies of racing would once again astonish all of us by becoming a master of computers and wood working.

He was a resident of Kansas, Missouri, Ohio, Delaware and finally Arizona.....

Ronald and Kathy have lived in Chandler, Arizona since 2004. Ron is survived by his wife, Kathy; two children, Russell Ray Sextro of San Tan Valley, Arizona and Gregory Michael (Amy) Sextro of San Tan Valley, Arizona; brothers Gary Lynn (Cheri) Sextro and Ralph Joseph (Debbie) Sextro; six grandchildren. Amber Kathryn, Miranda Rae, Bryce Anthony, Mason Eugene, Marissa Mae and Tristen Michael Sextro of San Tan Valley, Arizona and one great-grandson.

Services will be held Friday, August 26, 2016 at 1:00 prn at the Heritage Library Green Acres Mortuary and Cemetery at 401 N Hayden Rd in Scottsdale. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ron's name to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org/donate
