She married Don June, 27, 1964 who was a church musician/ associate pastor in churches in MI, TX, WI, AZ and CA.
Peggy will be remembered by her strong faith in Jesus Christ. She memorized the book of Philippians and lived those joyful principles as a believer. She was a wonderful pastor’s wife and loved people especially those who were hurting. She had a winsome personality with a “little edge” and was ready to laugh and have a great time.
She was a businesswoman serving customers as a pet photographer and a breeder of animals, most recently Cavalier King Charles Spaniels even though she was battling difficult diseases which included Myasthenia Gravis, Bronchiectasis, Trigeminal Neuralgia and Thymus Cancer in the liver. She co-founded the Arizona Chapter of Myasthenia Gravis Foundation in March, 1972. She is admired by all as one who fought these diseases with tenacity and perseverance. Her husband of 48 years says that Peggy had a tennis mentality; she saw the ball coming over the net and was determined to hit it back. She has had illnesses since 1971 and always hit the ball back with the help of the Lord and excellent doctors; but cancer was a very tough opponent.
