Loretta Welch

Dora Loretta Welch, 100, of Phoenix, AZ. passed away on October 5, 2016. Loretta was born to Jimmy and Dee McCabe in Atoka, OK. on July 24, 1916. She married the love of her life, W. A. Welch in Colgate, OK. on March 22, 1933, and during their marriage they not only made a beautiful family, but many wonderful memories of everything that they did together. Throughout her life Loretta owned a grocery store, theater, laundry mat and four restaurants. After they moved to Apache Junction, AZ. in 1960, she worked at Mining Camp restaurant as a baker before they again owned and operated two more restaurants in Apache Junction. Later in life Loretta was a seamstress, sewing clothing and making alterations to clothing. Loretta was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a grandson. She is survived by her two daughters, son-in-law, three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
