Gene was born in Elmhurst, Illinois on March 25, 1929.
He graduated from Proviso High School, and attended University of Arizona.
Gene was married to his loving wife, Mary Jane, on September 9, 1950 in Chicago, Illinois.
He enjoyed a career in Mechanical Engineering for Motorola, and had a passion for his family, grandchildren, and toy trains.
Gene was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jane.
He is survived by his sons, Michael, Scott, and Andrew, as well as 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
